Title and risk of loss or damage to the Products shall pass to you on the physical delivery of the Products to the address identified by you.

Prices for items on an order are fixed once your order has been accepted. Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be retroactively applied to accepted orders.

Title of all our goods shall remain the property of DG LOCK until paid in full.


The currency used in DG LOCK website is New Zealand Dollar. All prices in our web store are GST inclusive. 


Unless otherwise specified, all prices quoted or published on website do not include freight, handling or insurance costs. These will show separately on official DG LOCK invoices. Shipping is free for orders over $100 (excluding trade order). 



Our standard payment term is for PAYMENT ON COMPLETION unless otherwise agreed and we gladly accept cash or Eftpos. Due to high charges we must charge an extra %3 for credit card payments via Eftpos. There is no credit card surcharge for any online orders (via web store). 

Payment by any type of bank transfer will not be considered payment until the payment has been fully cleared into DG LOCK 's bank account.

Retention of Title

All goods remain the property of DG LOCK until payment in full is received.


We will not deliver to a Post Office box (PO Box) or any address in which we deem suspicious. Should you feel that your goods do not arrive in good condition, please feel free to contact us.


Delivery shall be made at the place agreed between the parties. Any dates quoted by DG LOCK for delivery of the Products are estimates only.


Please allow us up to 3 working days to process your order and send the goods out. If the order is urgent, please follow up the order with a phone call.


If a parcel is not received within 7 working days from the shipment date, we need to be notified immediately; otherwise we take no responsibility for the loss of the item.


Goods ordered on Friday (after 1pm), Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday.


Deliveries to Rural areas and Waiheke Island can take an additional 2 working days. All deliveries to Waiheke/Great Barrier Island (any Island off the coast of the mainland) will incur a surcharge of $15.


Should a parcel be returned to DG LOCK after several attempts at delivery have been made, the customer will be liable for a re-delivery charge.


If an item is out of stock, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we possibly can and organise for a suitable solution.



DG LOCK will only accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Items damaged or faulty prior to delivery.

  • Items supplied incorrectly.

  • Items failed to meet any applicable guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  • Items that vary from their description on the website.

  • Application to return must be made within 14 days of the purchase date.

  • Goods returned must be in a resaleable condition in un-damaged packaging.

Please choose carefully as we are not obliged to refund or exchange due to a change of mind. If you are not sure whether a lock fits your door, please check with us before making a purchase. Faulty items will be covered under our Warranty Policy.


Warranty Policy

 1. Digital door locks are designed and manufactured to assure personal safety. Improper use can result in personal damage or property loss. All safety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated.


 2. DG lock products are warranted for a period of one (1) or two (2) year (Alpha, Hafele, Schlage & Samsung products) from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.


    Hafele, Alpha, Schlage & Samsung Locks come with 2-year warranty, all other products come with 1-year warranty from date of purchase.

    Warranty claims of Hafele, Yale, Samsung, Schlage & Gainsborough products are handled by local distributor/Manufacturer. Any software or smart phone App-related enquiry/support will be directed to local distributor or manufacturer.  

    This Warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect operation or abusive use of the product, including physical abuse.

  • Improper installation or failure to follow fitting instructions.

  • Fair wear and tear.

  • Fire, water (liquid spillage or ingression), theft, vermin or insect infestation.

  • Incorrect voltage or non-authorised electrical connections.

  • Any modification or use of replacement parts other than authorised parts.

  • Indirect or consequential loss or damage.

  • Cost of removal and/or replacement.

  • Cost of freight and/or traveling time, unless stated otherwise.

  • Damage to or deterioration of plated finishes (soft finishes) or finishes exposed to a corrosive environment. As deterioration is possible under some environmental conditions.


 3. In the event of a repair being required within the warranty period, the product will be repaired without charge on the condition that:

  • The purchaser provides the original invoice.

  • The product has been used in strict accordance with the Operating Instructions supplied with the product, and has been operated under normal conditions.

  • The repairs are not required as a result of wear and tear, deterioration of plated finish or as a result of accident, misuse, neglect, or abuse of the product.


 4. Once the product is installed on the door, it cannot be returned or exchanged. 

 5. This warranty will not cover the situation where you are locked out without the emergency key (if applicable).

 6. Unless otherwise specified all repairs carry a 60 day parts warranty from the date of installation. Where the product has a balance of a new warranty remaining, the greater of 60 days or the balance of the new warranty applies.


 7. All visits (onsite support is only available in Auckland urban area) for repair or replacement out of warranty will incur a call-out fee. The call out fee does not include labour or materials.
